Ginger Goodwin's beautiful soccer medal is displayed at the Cumberland Museum in the Goodwin showcase. He earned the medal playing for Michel Football Club that won the Crow's Nest Pass Football League championship in 1910.
Goodwin usually played centre forward - a position known today as striker - perhaps appropriate for Ginger. He moved to Cumberland in the fall of 1910 where he also played soccer.
