In an exuberant and well-attended event, Cumberland seniors welcomed the change of season at Cumberland Museum's annual Lemon Tea fund-raiser. Tea, coffee and numerous lemony treats were served by youth from the current Katimavik group assisting curator Barb Lemky and her staff of volunteers.

Guests were well-attired in fabulous hats created especially for the occasion and prizes were awarded in a variety of categories. The number one choice of judges went to Florence Bell who won "dinner for two" at The Waverly.

Gwyn Sproule gave a short presentation focused on her new book Whyte's Bay Days. There were lots more very creative hats, more prizes and door prizes too! Yours truly wishes to thank Dodge City Video for the gift of a $10 door prize, just for showing up. See you all again next year!
