This beautifully landscaped park is managed by community volunteers and marks the location of the #6 Mine.
The park features a kid’s play area, gardens, a memorial cairn and shelter and walking paths. The Park hosts kid’s events and provides a staging area for many of Cumberland’s biking and hiking events.
The Cumberland Museum and Archives opened its doors in 1981 and is home to the extensive archives and artifacts of the community of Cumberland. We are open year round and offer over 40 exhibits, a Company Store, research services, after school programs, heritage events, guided tours, films and a replica coal mine.
